GOD IS LOVE

"God is love", is written upon every opening bud, upon every spire of springing grass.  The lovely birds making the air vocal with their happy songs, the delicately tinted flowers in their perfection perfuming the air, the lofty trees of the forest with their rich foliage of living green,-all testify to the tender, fatherly care of our God, and to His desire to make His children happy.

SADLY ABSENT

Hello my dear friends, I would like to appologize for my absence.  Last thursday my dear husband had a heartattack and passed on.
At this time I am not in the mood to blog, or do anything for that matter.  Thanks to all of you who have left comments.

Please keep me and my family in your prayers.

8 YEARS OF LIFE AND STILL GOING

Hello blogger friends, I would like to share a happy part of my life with you.  This year marks the 8th anniversary of me being a cancer survivor.  I was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer in December of 2002.

March of 2003 I started my new life as a cancer survivor.  I am very involved with Relay For Life,  I enjoy donating my paper crafts to raise money for the fund.  Here are a few pics of the Relay in my hometown, Moses Lake, Wa. for 2010.  I know, I know, I have gained some weight, but I'm happy.

THE MUSIC I LOVE

Hello dear friends,  what type of music do you listen to?  Who is your favorite artist?  Why do you like their music?  Those are the questions I ask you today.  Lately I have been having trouble with my anxiety/panic disorder and my Bipolar.  There is not much I can do to make these horrible feelings go away.  Of course prayer helps alot, but I have noticed that listening to music seems to calm me down a bit.  I love listening to music, especially my favorite~~~ the music of George Michael.  I have been a big fan of George Michael's music since I was in high school.  He really puts feeling to his music, and shows that he enjoys singing it.

I know there are some people who do not like his music or him for that matter.  But George Michael is a wonderful person in his own way.  I have been listening to his music alot lately, especially his music for the heart.  It is so relaxing to me, and I really enjoy it very much.

I thank God that I have George Michael's music to help me feel better.  It may not be religious music, but it works for me.

Just wanted to share this with you, my friends.  And let me know what you like and why.

A NEW YEAR

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year.  Let us praise the Lord for all our blessings in 2009, and for the new blessings to come in 2010.  As we all try to keep up with our new year's resolutions, let's not forget the Lord.  Let us try to depend on him when times are tough, and let us praise his name for all the goodness he provides.  He is the reason we are here, and we should be greatful just for that.  Let us not forget we are never alone in this world, for he is with us at all times and he has sent his angels to protect us.  I had many angels visit me in 2009, and I know the Lord will send me more in 2010.  I am waiting with open arms.

STOP YOUR WORRYING

I suffer from anxiety/panic disorder, along with depression.  I was diagnosed in 1998 and still to this day, I struggle with it.  I just watched a DVD titled FREEDOM FROM WORRY AND ANXIETY, by Joyce Meyer.  This DVD really touched me.  It has strengthened my faith and love to God.  I accually feel good and don't feel worried or anxious.  I can go to bed now, not worrying and crying, but relaxed and can accually sleep thru the night.  I wake up happy and with no worries.  I go thru my days thanking God for everything he has done for me and my family.  I can go on and on, but I think I will keep it short for now anyway.  If you are a worrier, I recomend this DVD.  This DVD has saved me from the evil one, who likes to play with our thoughts.  This video is a miracle for me.  Please, if you are suffering, watch this video...you will love it.

This post is for my dear friends at Etsy-TeamCAC.  This is a picture of myself and my husband, Steve.  We have been married for 13 years.  I love my husband very much, he is a wonderful man.  When I asked the Lord for the perfect husband, I actually had a list of how I wanted this man to be, and he gave him to me right to the T, down to the blue eyes.  The Lord is good.
